Welcome to our Lake Lure Vacation Rental House website. This 2 bedroom / 1 bath home is located at 302 Mark Twain Drive in Lake Lure, NC. The vacation home has a large great room and kitchen area as well as a dining area. French doors open out onto the wrap around deck. The deck goes all the way around the house and the views are spectacular. From the deck along the back of the house you can look out up an over the lake and see Rumbling Bald Mountain. Across the lake is where the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed. You can see downtown Lake Lure from the dock and it is only a short boat ride away to the town marina and beach.
Our vacation rental home is the first house on Lake Lure and the closest to downtown Lake Lure and the beach. The city of Chimney Rock and the state park is only a 5 minute drive away. There are plenty of hiking trails, rivers, waterfalls and amazing views only minutes away.
Our Lake Lure Vacation Rental House is available for rent from April until Thanksgiving. Rental rates vary but are normally between $1,000 and $1,250 per week or $175 – $200 per night with a two night minimum. Taxes and a housekeeping fee are separate. The home is approximately 1,000 square feet. There is a laundry room on the lower level. The house is equipped with central heat and air. There is WIFI in the home but no phone. There is a Television with Apple TV, HD Antenna Channels and a DVD player.
Our “Lake Lure House” vacation home is located at the end of Mark Twain Drive and is the last house on the street. It is only minutes to downtown Lake Lure by either car or boat. There are steps that lead to the boat house and large dock/deck. (Please note that there are approximately 180 steps down to the boathouse and dock.)
